Ms. Miriam is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant with over 3 years of experience working with the pediatric population. Before becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant, Miriam worked as a preschool teacher for over 5 years, and a one-on-one aid for children with special needs both in group and individual settings.
Miriam graduated from Messiah University in 2018 with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/ Allied Health, and in 2021 with her degree as a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has certifications in Retained Primitive Reflex Integration, feeding therapy, and Montessori/ Reggio based play therapy.
Miriam’s areas of interest include gross motor skills, sensory processing, and primitive reflex integration. She loves working with other therapists, families, and children to create interpersonal relationships, allowing them to best meet their individual goals.
